NFL Coloring Pages

NFL Stands for National Football League. That I'm sure you know already. I just can't think of any other starter for this post, so let me just continue. Although today NFL houses no less than 32 teams, in the first year it was founded in 1920, it only had four. Those were Dayton Triangles, Cleveland Indians, Canton Bulldogs, and Akron Pros. And it wasn't called NFL then. It was APFC which stands for American Professional Football Conference. Just one month after its founding, the name was changed to APFA (American Professional Football Association), with ten new teams added into the the organization. Two years after that, it was finally transformed into NFL. Still, NFL wasn't always the only football organization in USA. In 1960, a rival was founded and it was called AFL (American Football League). Six years later, the competing league finally expressed its interest to merge with NFL. The following year, Americans watch Super Bowl for the first time.
